Electronics Hardware Design Engineer

Innovative Integration, a recognized leader in Advanced Data Acquisition, Signal Processing and Embedded System Solutions is seeking an experienced senior level Electronic Hardware Design Engineer to join our growing team. An ideal candidate must have a good working knowledge in a broad area covering RF and a very high-speed analog front end design. Position requires working with high-performance ADC-s and DAC-s, switching and linear power supplies, PLL-s, FPGA-s, memories, various digital circuits, high-speed interfaces (PCIe, USB 3.0, SATA, Rocket IO etc). Deep understanding of signal and power integrity concepts and ability to apply it in a system/board level design is required. Must have a good working knowledge of the simulation (Spice, Hyperlynx etc) and schematic entry tools (Altium preferred) and be able to use PCB design tools (Altium or PADS) to support PCB layout group work on design. Needs to work with different vendors and make the proper component selection to achieve desired design goals. Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills; ability to utilize advanced instrumentation in design characterization; good understanding of mechanical and thermal aspects of electronic designs and excellent verbal and written communications are required.

Must be energetic self-starter, highly motivated, work with little or no supervision in an environment of a small and highly dynamic company and be able to drive projects from the concept and design phase all the way to transferring it to production.

Additional skills and qualifications desired: Strong programming skills (C/C++), knowledge of FPGA design tools, VHDL, MATLAB. Knowledge of PCB fabrication, SMT assembly and understanding of the quality management concepts.

Education/Experience. A BS/MS in a field of Electrical or Computer Engineering and a minimum of 5 years experience in the field is required.

Must be authorized to work in USA.
