Vista Provides Video Acquisition with C6711 DSP Co-processing on 64-bit PCI Card

First born of the Matador Series of DSP products, this board design combines a Philips video decoder and encoder with a TMS320C6711 32-bit floating point DSP to provide an unprecedented platform for NTSC/PAL full frame-rate capture, image co-processing on dedicated DSP and video playback to NTSC or RGB output. Huge bandwidth across the PCI bus is ensured with our screaming-fast 64bit 33MHz PCI interface. Vista's DevPack includes a complete software toolkit with DSP/BIOS device drivers and example host/target programs with source. This is not just a design kit but rather a complete solution, ready for deployment in factory automation, video compression on internet gateway or broadcast monitoring. Toro Handles 16 Analog I/O Channels at Rates up to 250kHz with C6711 DSP

Recently elected NASA Tech Briefs Product of the Month, Toro is the first advanced analog solution of our Matador DSP Series. Servo16 I/O Module Upgraded for Smarter Servo Control

Low data latency and precision servo control timing features have been added to the Servo16 OMNIBUS Module's firmware to allow easier design of real-time servo controls. A/D programmable decimation has been added to clock the converter at maximum speed while delivering lower rate, low latency data to the servo-loop interrupt routine. The output auto-update can be programmed at a fixed delay from the last A/D conversion event, allowing the servo designer to precisely tune the servo update period timing. Combined with any Innovative Integration OMNIBUS-compatible base board, the Servo16 adds 16 simultaneous channels of 16-bit I/O at rates up to 100 kHz.
