Conejo combines (4) simultaneous 10MHz 14-bit A/D and D/A channels with flexible trigger logic on 300MB/s bus of TMS320C6711 DSP on PCI card.

Conejo, the latest addition to our Matador Series of DSP cards, delivers unmatched performance through innovative architecture using best-in-class components and design tools. Conejo continuously streams 4 channels at 10MHz to a C6711 DSP on a 300MB/s bus. This amazing bandwidth is augmented by a screaming-fast 32 or 64-bit PCI interface that consumes virtually no DSP CPU overhead. Any user will appreciate the flexibility in triggering and the wide choice of conversion timebases: continuous streaming, analog threshold trigger, re-triggered framed capture, external trigger, the possibilities are endless. The software toolset is just as impressive, with high-performance DSP/BIOS peripheral device drivers that guarantee the best utilization of bandwidth and high level host-side SW components for accelerated development. Conejo, the solution for high-end radar technology, semiconductor testing, communication, video, biotechnology and other high-speed signal capture challenges.

Toro delivers excellent analog performance on 16 simultaneous 250kHz 16-bit channels

Toro exceeds expectation in A/D performance. Its sixteen analog input channels will please demanding engineers with a solid 86 dB of S/N and a total harmonic distortion below -89dB. This excellent in-system performance with such channel density on a PCI card enables the end user to solve tough data acquisition problems with ease. The input stage includes 5-pole elliptic anti-alias filters, in-system auto-calibration, digital error correction and unlimited trigger choices. The DAC have very low glitch energy below 8nV-sec, an excellent feature for driving very sensitive control systems. This rich analog platform is well integrated with a TMS320C6711 DSP and a huge selection of peripherals: 64-bit DIO, FIFO-based external data port, external clock and trigger, multi-board synchronization. The Pismo SW toolset provides an out-of-the-box sophisticated turnkey data acquisition application and contains extensive target and host side libraries for aggressive implementation schedules of custom applications.

Matador Series of DSP boards simplify system level integration with valuable external interfaces

Each card in our Matador Series includes numerous features greatly appreciated by the system integrator. These interfaces, with simple configuration tools, simplify system design, field deployment and application scale-up:

  • External clock and external trigger: these input signals can be routed to a processor timer, analog conversion triggers or CPU interrupts

  • SyncLink/ClockLink: for multi-card or external hardware synchronization, this interface is used to share a timebase source or some user-specific hardware events across different platforms, and accommodates (5) TTL and (1) LVDS. Configuration of master/slave and signal routing is done with simple register write commands and the wiring consists of a simple flat ribbon connection.

  • FIFOPort: this fast external data port for asynchronous data transfer is a buffered bi-directional 16-bit parallel port with FIFO latch signals and programmable fill-level interrupt flags that give the programmer all the flexibility to optimize bulk speed and latency with simple handshakes.

  • 64-bit multi-purpose digital I/O: two separate 32-bit DIO port accommodate most any external hardware handshake, bulk digital data transfer and digital synchronous control tasks.

BinView facilitates viewing and analysis of large data sets in time and frequency domains

Stop juggling between applications and reformatting data sets for post-analysis! BinView, our powerful data graphing and analysis tool, allows you to directly interface to your application as a post-processing analysis tool. Each Innovative Integration DevPack includes this useful host utility for displaying and scrolling through large data sets, viewing FFT with any specific windowing and calculating AC system performance with Signal to Noise statistics. The utility can be used as a stand-alone tool for analysis of binary data, or can be invoked and launched automatically following acquisition or processing of a data set.
