Any X-series module may be tethered to a PC via Cabled PCI Express (CPEX) allowing data streaming at 200 MB/s sustained. The eInstrumentPC is a full-fledged industrial-grade, COM-module-based PC housed in a rugged, 3"x7"x10" metal enclosure. Up to two X-series XMC modules can be natively installed providing analog and digital I/O to GHz rates. An onboard CPEX interface allows connection to a DAQ-Node, which when combined with an optional CPEX hub provides unlimited XMC module expansion. The ePC may be equipped with up to four SSDs, a GPS and attach to up to six USB peripherals to create a powerful I/O and computational island.
