Hello
We had purchased quixote board recently.i installed board in compact slot of my pc and it worked fine for some days but after some time it was found that board was not powered up when the system was powered up. so i took a fresh card out and intalled that card which worked fine but after some time same problem appeared again.i am using anti static sheets and using it with full care but dont know what happens to it.

plz help me regarding this problem..

Perhaps the FPGA or DSP is overheating. Modern boards ship with a thermal sensor tape attached to these devices, which latch the max temperature to which the devices were exposed. Check the tape and report. If the boards are overheating, you'll have to increase the airflow to the boards to eliminate this problem.

but i have plugged the card out and reinstalled but the problem is occuring again.and power led of the quixote card is not getting on.

plz tell me if there is any way of resetting the board so that i can reset the temperature.

If the board was subjected to a thermal overload, then the FPGA may have been damaged. If the board is no longer functional, email techsprt@innovative-dsp.com to obtain an RMA code so that it can be inspected/serviced.
