Hello,

There is a post about the external clock frequencies that are wrong in the manual for the X3-DIO card. Is this true for the X3-25 board as well?

If I'm not incorrect there is also some other mistakes about the external trigger source. Is there an errata list for the documentation?

I also noticed that the drivers had been updated to version 1.22 last weekend, but the change list hadn't been updated since version 1.19. What have been changed in the last releases?

Is there a possibility to get an email when the software is updated or do I have to poll the site to see if there is an update?

Page 62 of the X3-25M manual states

Quote:
The LTC2207 supports sample rates from 1 to 105MSPS. On the X3-25M module, the sample clock can be either an external clock input or generated on the card by a PLL.

This information is correct. So an external clock must operate in this range. when feeding the A/Ds.

On page 66, the manual states

Quote:
The LTC1668 supports update rates from DC to 50 MSPS.

So an external clock must operate in this range. when feeding the D/As.

The software release notes have now been updated on the support site. These notes contain details regarding SW changes since the previous release.

Ok, that's good information. I just got a bit confused when I saw the table 12 on page 67, that states that the external clock should be in the range 1 to 8MHz.

Thanks for the update of the change list. I hadn't found the announcement thread, I will make sure to sign up for notifications from that thread.

Cheers,
Anders
