We have an eInstrument PC with a Core2Duo (Radisys CEGM45) COMEX board. We have had little luck installing any recent Linux distribution on the card. The installers hang or reset at various points during the kernel startup. The only distribution which has succeeded is a bit old (CentOS 5), running a 2.6.18 kernel. Has anyone succeeded in installing RHEL 6/CentOS 6, or some other distro with a kernel in the 2.6.26 - 2.6.36 range?

We have successfully used OpenSUSE 11.4 and Redhat 6 which I believe is on kernels 2.6.37 and 2.6.32. Can you describe the exact process you use to install and the RPM version numbers? What specific kernel and OS are you trying to install on?
