To Brian,
I uploaded the firmware you provided to my x6 and verification is ok.
Then I shut down the computer completely and started computer again to test with snap program. Unframe mode with int clock was used for testing.
I saw the rate changes in snap program and however snap program turned out to be the attached picture when I stopped streaming and clicked postprocess.
After a while, I clicked stream again and program did not respond and crashed.
Blue screen occurred again when I tried to restart my computer. |

| You are still using an older version of the software. The newest version does not have the post process button on it. Download the newest software from the website, and tell me what happens when you run it. There has been important changes since that software release. |

I downloaded the beta version of X6-400M software and installed it in a completely new computer, in which only windows is installed.
I only saw Arb and Stream examples but no snap program.
I ran Arb and however there was no data stream although the device was opened properly and the firmware is also the latest one.
BTW: I can not find any info about Arb in X6-400M manual. |

On this product we are no longer using 'snap' and 'wave'. The 'Stream' program serves all of the same functions for those. If you want to do snap, try to run it with stream and turn off the output channels. I believe that we have not written a manual for 'Arb' yet. It is relatively new software. As for why it will not stream, I am not sure. Send me your .ini file for Arb and I will take a look at it, and try running the Stream application and see if you have any luck with that.
Thanks,

Unfortunately, I did not get any luck with stream program.
The computer just crashes when I click stream in the stream program.
What I did is just to select channel 0 for input and run program in unframe mode with internal clock and trigger.
The .ini file for arb is attached. |

| I don't see your settings file attached. I still don't know what is causing your issues. I am starting to think you may just have hardware problems. We have been testing and trying to improve the X6-400 a lot here, but we have not run in to what you are describing on your tests. I will keep you updated on what we find. |

We have been working on new firmware that incorporates many fixes and enhancements that should fix some bugs and improve the packet extraction and processing. It will be tested very soon. There have also been some improvements made to the Stream software. I suspect we will be able to release it later this week or early next week. I will notify you as soon as these things are released so you can try them out. Hopefully it will fix the issues you described.
Thank you for your patience.

| The new SW and FW release for the X6-400M improves the post processing data rate and does not appear to exhibit any triggering anomolies. Use InstallFromWeb to download and test. |
