| Quote: | I’m looking for the following technical information to ensure we can apply this card in our application…
1) How much VCC_INT power is available to the FPGA? I need to know how much processing I can stuff in the FPGA
|
1V @10A.
| Quote: | 2) FMC/XMC LVDS questions…
a. How many LVDS from FMC/XMC go to the FPGA in total
|
FMC connector is High Pin Count (HPC) variety as delineated in VITA57. There are 80 pairs total for the FMC, arranged as LA_P/N[33:0], HA_P/N[23:0] and HB[21:0].
Also have connections to backplane connector P2 for 20 pairs.
Total is 100 pairs connected to the FPGA.
| Quote: | b. How many of those go to FPGA clock I/O
|
As called out by VITA 57 spec LA_P/N[1:0], LA_P/N[18:17], HA_P/N[1:0], HA_P/N[17], HB_P/N[0], HB_P/N[6], HB_P/N[17]
| Quote: | c. How many go directly to the VPX connector?
|
Connections to backplane connector P2 for 20 pairs.
| Quote: | 3) LVDS length matched
a. What is the tolerance for length matching within a LVDS pair?
|
Matched to 5 mils in a pair
| Quote: | b. Are LVDS pairs length matched to each other, and if so what tolerance?
|
Defined groups are matched as noted
FMC LA_P/N [33:0] matched to 10 mils within group (lengths = 3334 to 3344 mils)
FMC HA_P/N [23:0] matched to 10 mils within group (lengths = 2446 to 2456 mils)
FMC HB_P/N [33:0] matched to 10 mils within group (lengths = 2940 to 2950 mils)
Here are DIO to the backplane. They are not all tightly matched.
