A customer is using a X6-400M board with the XMC to PCIe adapter card. It worked fine, until they have to remove the card from the PC temporary and plugged it back again (in the same PC, using the same PCIe slot).

After the re-insertion the board is not recognised anymore. Before they re-inserted the card there were two "Jungo" entries via device manager: Jungo->WinDriver and Jungo-> IIWdrvr6.

They removed the Jungo drivers, the whole folder "C:/Innovative" and after removing the card they run again the installation which successfully completed. After putting the card back in the PC and rebooting the pc the card is still not recognized. No question mark in the device manager and only Jungo->WinDriver is visible via device manager.

Finally they manually installed the IIWinDrivers64.zip drivers as described here: http://www.innovative-dsp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=556&highlight=windriver (They use 64b Win XP Pro), without resulting in a working system again..

Only the blue LED is lit on the board after powering up the PC.

Please advise what can be done to further diagnose and further steps to solve the problem.

Best regards,
Bas

Try putting a shunt jumper on X6-400M JP1 header. Picture is attached. Power up the module. If successful, and the 3 LEDs turn on, then it means the board configured from the "Golden Image".
