The X5 series modules have a PCIe clock speed of 100Mhz. There are some computers that do not always follow this rule and allow different selections of clocking speeds. If a computer over clocks this speed it can run up to 133Mhz. This clock is too fast for the X5 internal PCIe clocks. The internal clock of the X5 is multiplied by 2.5 of the PCIe clock. This becomes too fast for X5.

We have compiled a list of computers that work with the X5 series. There may be others out there also. These are just known versions.

Some other non working computers can also be used if the DIMM memory is selected properly. This causes the over clocking at times to become the nominal 100Mhz.
