Test Unit:
DSP Card: Quixote I
Quixote_inf_C2_CX.exo
Windows XP INTEL DUAL 3.8 GHz.

Setup:
Using the ASNAP example from the PIZMO examples with 2 Analog sources on the AD converter (Channel 0 and 1)

TimeBase Parameters:
- Continuous
- Input Sample Rate for the Timebase at about 1 MHz. (doesn’t really matter could be from 0.1 to 10 MHz)

Question: When the Decimation factor is greater than zero (0) then data from channel one (1) becomes garbage. Why?

I’m reading data in channel 0 properly. Sometimes Channel 1 gives proper data for one buffer at the beginning of an acquisition and then stops putting out corret data.
The final solution should allow data acquisition from 2 analog channels with a decimation factor applied on the FIFO buffers
The decimation factor is same for both channels.
I’m using the ASNAP example in this question, but I have the same problem occurring in my own programs.
ASNAP example use AinStream class; I use ADCStream in my own programs, but with similar results
I have similar problem when using other types of timebase (other than basicTmb)
No problems with any other timebase parameters.

A: We have updated the Logic for the Quixote to version Quixote_inf_C2_CY.exo or if you have a 6M Quixote_inf_C6_CY.exo. This cured several problems with timing and also cured the decimation problem. These files have the new version of Logic and is supported in version 7.1 SP2 of Xilinx.
