Overview

The PCI Express Cable hub provides an interface between a host PCIe cable adapter to multiple CPEX target devices, such as Innovative Integration XMC modules housed in DAQ-Node chassis.

The hub is completely transparent to PCI Express. A signal repeater for the PCI Express interface provides tuning controls transmit and receive signals, allowing cables up to 7 meters in length to be reliably used.

The hub can be connected to any x1 or x 4 PCIe to cabled PCIe adapter, such as our PCI Express X1 Cable Adapter or Four-Lane Cabled PCI Express Adapter Card, respectively, to support system expansion via CPEX devices.

No software is required to operate the adapter.
