The PCI Express PMC family integrates ultra-fast signal capture, generation and co-processing on an advanced PMCe architecture. The Performance group is founded on a no-holds-barred design philosophy targeting the ultimate in real-time signal I/O, processing and FPGA computing, based on the new Virtex 5 SX logic family. The Value line is a cost-effective blend of the Xilinx Spartan 3 FPGA and superb quality, high-channel-count analog to address cost-critical OEM applications. Performance Series These products combine new generation analog devices with state-of-the-art user-reconfigurable Virtex 5 SX FPGA, a huge QDR memory pool and ultra-low jitter clocks/triggers with an eight-lane PCI Express interface plus a private J16 64-bit user I/O portthat connects straight to the motherboard or carriers. This ultimate connectivity allows for rapid deployment of the most advanced systems in SDR, signal intelligence, RADAR, radio test equipment. Value Series Each card combines new generation analog devices providing unparalleled analog performance and wide channel count at an extremely affordable price point. An onboard, user-programmable Spartan 3 FPGA is coupled to a very large DDR memory and flexible, programmable clocks/trigger subsystem simplifies system interfacing. A two-lane PCI Express bus interface provides 200 MB/s data flow capacity which is ideally matched to the analog front-end. Boards may be plugged into any PCIe desktop, or cPCI chassis via available carriers. Easily programmed in C++ or MATLAB using libraries supplied at no extra cost. |
