NOTE: As of DVD release version 4.61 - Innovative Integration board drivers, Malibu Libraries, and example
programs have been upgraded and are no longer compatible with product releases appearing on DVD release version 4.60 or lower.
A complete development package download is required for users upgrading an existing package originally installed from DVD release
version 4.60 or lower. If legacy software is required an
ISO image of DVD version 4.60 (2GB) is
available for download.
InstallFromWeb is a small utility program designed to automate
the process of retrieving the latest version of software toolsets and documentation for
Innovative Integration DSP and data acquisition products from the II website.
The utility, which may be downloaded by clicking on the image shown, automatically connects to the
Innovative web server at startup. After connecting, information for all
available Innovative development software products and documentation are
automatically retrieved from the site. The information for each of the product
installations includes constituent installation files, their sizes and their
release version.
The version information for each downloadable
package is displayed for your review. Additionally, all package versions are
compared to the versions of any Innovative software products which may be
installed on your local PC. Thus, you’ll always be able to determine if your
development tools and documentation are up-to-date. You need only take the time
to download when InstallFromWeb indicates that you are using obsolete software.
After InstallFromWeb downloads all constituent
update files contained in a user-specified package, that product may be directly
installed on the local PC by simply clicking the Install Product button.
InstallFromWeb supports storage of the downloaded
software to any directory on your local PC. By default, software is stored in
your Windows temporary folder. However, you may freely change this default
location, to facilitate access to downloaded software update files from another
PC on your network. This feature is useful in situations where the development
PC is not web-enabled.
